competition
is
open
to
all
Scouts
and
Explorers in our District.
Troops can enter more than one team, and if they do not enough players to make up a full team then a team is made up from Scouts from different Troops. To stop Groups entering teams made up of only Explorers there is a limit of 1 Explorer per team.
We usually hold the football competition at Redruth School but due to increasing charges we have to change the venue.
Hayle Football Club have kindly offered to help us out so we will be holding the football there. It is taking place on 17th September. We will use their pitch from 2-5pm.
Each team will consist of 6 players, wearing trainers, shin pads and team shirts.
The cost is £5 per team.
Players need to bring a snack and drinks with them.
We play a league system with 3points for a win, 2 for a draw and 1 for a defeat.
Top 2 teams to contest the final.
On the day 4 teams turned up and played a round robin of games. We changed the points system to 5 for a win, 3 for a score draw, 2 for a no score draw and 1 point for a defeat.
